Sunday Sermon Snippets: Acts 1: 7-8

Acts 1: 7-8

7 He answered them, “It isn’t for you to know what times or periods the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you’ll receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you’ll be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

***Every believer has the spirit of Christ.

***Sin breaks relationship from God. When we sin, we offend God. But God will not block us from his "FaithBook" if we do not offend him.

***If you cannot feel God's presence, check your heart. You might have offended him.

***You are a true witness of Christ if you have had a personal encounter and have personally experienced God's mercy and grace.

***We deserve to be punished because of our sins, but we do not get punished because of God's "mercy."

***We do not deserve to be saved from our sins, but we have received "grace" from God.

***There is nothing to be ashamed of what Jesus has done for us. While waiting for Christ's second coming, we need to share to others how they may get to experience God's mercy and grace.

***Only God knows how to fix our messy lives. Only Jesus can give true essence to our life.
